These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Eve Services, including our Site and AI-based project management functionalities. By creating an account or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using any of the Services, you represent that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You affirm you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Description of the Services
Eve provides an AI assistant that can:
1. Integrate with various third-party applications.
2. Access data from those integrations with your authorization.
3. Provide meeting summaries, automated tasks, or scheduled notifications.
4. Act on your behalf (e.g., sending tasks or scheduling meetings) within the scope of your granted permissions.
You are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy and legality of any data or instructions you provide through the Services
User Accounts
Account Creation
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Account Security
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Termination by You
You may delete or deactivate your account at any time by following the instructions in your account settings.
Third-Party Integrations
By connecting third-party applications (e.g., Google Calendar, Gmail, Notion, Asana) to Eve, you grant us permission to access, retrieve, and process your data from those applications to provide the Services. You acknowledge and agree that:
1. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.
2. We are not responsible for the availability or functionality of such third-party services, nor do we endorse their content or data practices.
3. You may revoke our access to any third-party application at any time, although doing so may affect your use of the Services.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
1. Use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
2. Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Services or servers.
3. Access or attempt to access another user’s account or data without authorization.
4. Upload or transmit any malicious software, viruses, or harmful code.Resell, sublicense, or otherwise misuse the Services in violation of these Terms.
Intellectual Property
Eve’s Rights
We own all rights, title, and interest in the Services, including all intellectual property rights. Except for your personal, non-commercial use of the Services, no rights are granted to you under these Terms.
User Content
You retain ownership of all content you submit, post, or otherwise make available through the Services. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, modify, and display such content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Services.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:
1. The Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
2. The data or results obtained from the use of the Services will be accurate or reliable.
3. Any errors in the Services will be corrected.
To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
No Indirect Damages
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.
Liability Cap
In no event will our total liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the Services in the twelve (12) months prior to the event giving rise to the liability or (b) USD $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations on damages, so some of these exclusions and limitations may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Eve, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable laws.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services if:
1. You breach any of these Terms or our Privacy Policy.
2. We are required to do so by law or regulatory requirements.
3. We decide to discontinue the Services, in whole or in part.
Upon termination, all rights and licenses granted to you in these Terms will immediately cease. Sections regarding Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, and Indemnification will survive termination.
Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email (if provided) or by posting a notice on the Site before they become effective. Your continued use of the Services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
